Hamish has over 20 years experience developing people in high pressure environments across both the sports and private industry. Most recently, he has worked internally as the high performance director in the private business sector where he coached and mentored business leaders in one of New Zealand’s largest real estate companies. Now, a Senior High Performance Coach with Next Evolution Performance, Hamish is putting a lifetime of skills to use.
Hamish knows first-hand what it takes to perform at a high level as a professional cricket player in his early career. After retiring in the early 2000’s Hamish spent 4 years coaching the Argentine National Cricket team. He then held an assistant coaching role and later was appointed to the Head Coach role for the WHITEFERNS (New Zealand Women’s Cricket Team).
He has held a high performance role in netball and was High Performance Athlete Development Manager with Canoe Racing New Zealand.
Hamish has Sports Management degree from Lincoln University, Christchurch, is an NLP practitioner, qualified yoga instructor and meditation teacher, his focus is on helping people grow, creating optimal team environments that get results and supporting driven leaders
reach their goals.
